Cblast in LA - Nov 12, 2014 - for web[1]image2

On the evening of November 12, Consul General James Villeneuve and his family hosted a beautiful night of Canadian music focused on two great songstresses, Jenn Grant (Outside/Blue Grace Music), represented onsite by her manager Sheena Keane, and Lindsay Broughton (Curve Music) represented onsite by her manager Brian Hetherman. With the help of our partners at The Consulate General of Canada, we were able to put together this fantastic opportunity to showcase Canadian export-ready artists to the Los Angeles entertainment industry, as well as create opportunities for their representatives to build relationships and connections in areas like touring, press, publishing and song placement - just to name a few.

This Canadian Blast showcase was an exclusive, invite-only event - the guest list was specifically targeted to the VIPs of the Los Angeles entertainment industry and managed by the office of the Consul General of Canada. The showcase was very well-attended - with over 70 key LA contacts and standing room only in the living room!

Beyond the showcase, the mission also included a VIP luncheon with our artist representatives and additional targeted LA industry contacts to match the needs of the business representatives in attendance.
