Canadian Official Showcase and Clubnight Artists Announced for Jazzahead! 2020
Jazzahead has announced the official selection of the eight artists who will showcase during Canada night, as Canada is the partner country for the 2020 edition. The selected artists are:

- François Bourassa Quartet (QC)
- Itamar Erez quartet (BC)
- Larnell Lewis (ON)
- Marianne Trudel + John Hollenbeck: Dédé Java Espiritu (QC)
- Silvervest (QC)
- Steph Richards (AB)
CIMA and CQM congratulate all the artists who will be representing Canadian creativity and talent during this special edition of Jazzahead.

Jazzahead is the largest market specializing in jazz music, held in Bremen, Germany from April 23 to 26, 2020. For the 2020 edition, Canada is invited as the partner country. Many activities will be organized to promote Canadian and Quebecois artists. The collective presence at the umbrella stand is coordinated by CQM and CIMA. Jazzahead is part of the culture program related to Canada's Guest of Honour presentation at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2020. Supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Government of Canada.
Québec Jazz Clubnight selections:
In collaboration with CIMA, CQM presents their Québec Jazz event during the Clubnight on April 25, at the Schaulust in Bremen. This years, Québec Jazz invites Ontario artist Barbra Lica to perform alongside her Quebecois fellows. The line up is:

- Rachel Therrien
- Jean-Pierre Zanella
- The Brooks
The Clubnight is part of Jazzahead Festival's program and is open to the public, as well as to the Trade fair delegates.
Clubnight Canada Jazz
Another Canadian evening will be presented during the Clubnight at the Schwankalle in collaboration with the Canada Council for the Arts on April 25. The programming will be announced shortly.
