CIMA is excited to announce three new targeted business missions for this Spring and Fall.

June 23-25, 2015 - New York City - CIMA @ A2IM Indie Week 2015

CIMA is pleased to announce that we will be joining A2IM's Indie Week 2015 and organizing a business development mission to NYC for Canadian independent music companies. This mission is an excellent opportunities for labels and managers to network with key international contacts across a variety of industries. You must be a CIMA member in good standing to participate in this mission.

May 19-22, 2015 - Los Angeles - The Ground Floor: Canadian Synch Mission to Pilot Season in Hollywood

CIMA's Synch Mission to Pilot Season in Hollywood includes a guide to existing and new television shows and the music decision-makers associated with each. 4 studio/network visits are planned to meet with the music teams and discuss their upcoming music needs. A less formal social networking opportunity will afford participants the opportunity to deepen new relationships and cement existing ones.

This opportunity is open to 10 Canadian music companies and best suited to companies with extensive and diverse catalogues; who are still seeking to make solid connections with the music supervision teams at major networks and studios, particularly those without existing US representation.

During the week of November 16-20, 2015 - Tokyo - Mission to Japan

CIMA will produce an outbound Business and Showcasing Mission to Japan to strengthen/expand market connections & introduce new companies to the dynamic & potentially lucrative Japanese marketplace.

Selected mission delegates will participate in a collective approach to maximize exposure & create business opportunities through B2B activities (meetings/networking/seminars) & showcasing in-market. CIMA will work with the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo to host activities & support outreach. This opportunities is open to 8-10 export-ready Canadian music companies & their artists (by application).
