For the first time ever CIMA, in partnership with CARAS, will be bringing in 10 International Buyers to The JUNO Awards in Saskatoon from March 11-15 with a primary focus on Germany and a secondary focus on the UK.

In terms of business opportunities, CIMA will be hosting an International Brunch on Saturday, March 14 from 9:30-11:30AM (CST) at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Bessborough. Featuring agents and bookers from the UK and Germany, selected participants will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals from the European live music sector. The cost to participate in this event is 30$ and space is very limited. Priority will be given to members and partners of CIMA. If you are interested in participating please e-mail Jenia Schukov (jenia@cimamusic.ca) to receive the registration link.

CIMA has been gathering showcase information from our members who are attending the JUNOS in order to ensure that the invited international delegates have the opportunity to attend these various showcases and events throughout the week.

CIMA will also be partnering with SaskMusic to present a Lunch & Learn on Friday, March 13 at Winston’s English Pub & Grill from 11:30AM-1:30PM. The focus will be on release strategies and will feature the following speakers: Erin Kinghorn (eEK!
