Our Lady Peace Receive Road Gold

Toronto, ON – The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) is proud to announce that Our Lady Peace has received Road Gold certification, in recognition of their “Our Lady Peace & Matthew Good Canadian Tour” and “Clumsy 20th Anniversary Tour” back in 2017-2018. Road Gold is a certification program that celebrates and acknowledges Canada’s hard-working touring artists and bands that exceed 25,000 ticket sales in a year. To celebrate this significant achievement, the band was given their Road Gold award backstage at their Budweiser Stage show last Sunday.

About Our Lady Peace:

When Mark Van Doren, the American poet and teacher, wrote his famous work, “Our Lady Peace” in 1943, he couldn’t have imagined the concept of rock n roll, let alone that a Canadian rock group would adopt his title for their name. Consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Steve Mazur and Jason Pierce. Our Lady Peace is one of the most successful bands in Canada today. The band has sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won four JUNO Awards and ten Much Music Video Awards – one of the most MMVA’s ever awarded to any artist or group. Recently wrapped up their Summersault Tour and they will be on the last leg of their ALTimate Tour with Bush and Live this Fall.

CIMA presented the certifications during Our Lady Peace’s “Summersault Tour” in Toronto at the Budweiser stage. Dates for their extensive “ALTimate Tour with Bush + LIVE” as well as their past “Summersault Tour” can be seen below.
