In the lead up to the fourth annual CIMA Celebration & Awards Gala on June 11th, we're proud to put a spotlight on our amazing 2018 winners and nominees.

Next up is this year's Entrepreneur Award recipient: Chris Taylor of Entertainment One in Toronto (award presented by Gowling WLG).

Chris Taylor is the Global President, Music at Entertainment One. Prior to eOne, Chris was Canada’s most successful music attorney representing Drake, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne and many others. In 2004 he started independent music company, Last Gang, to launch the careers of Metric, Death From Above 1979 and Crystal Castles. He sold Last Gang to eOne in 2016 and now oversees a music staff of over 100 in offices in New York, London, Nashville, Los Angeles, Hamburg, Melbourne and Toronto. Entertainment One’s music division is one of the largest independent music companies in the world with management, publishing, live and record divisions working in all genres with artists including, The Lumineers, Wu Tang Clan, Jax Jones and Arkells. The music division boasted 12 Grammy nominations in 2017.
