Halifax Pop Explosion (HPX), founded in 1993, is one of Canada’s most respected festivals & showcases for new and emerging music, arts and culture. The festival combines showcases, networking events and a music industry conference. Halifax Pop Explosion offers over 180 bands the chance to showcase in 18 venues over 4 days in front of thousands of industry reps and over 20,000 attendees.
