CIMA Presents “Business Academy” at Nova Scotia Music Week
CIMA is proud to be presenting the Business Academy stream at Nova Scotia Music Week’s “Mind Over Music” conference. Business Academy will be running all day on November 9th, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Holiday Inn Sydney Waterfront. It will offer panels, presentations, discussions and mixers with some of the top leaders in music, broadcasting, multimedia and technology worldwide.
CIMA hopes that Business Academy will be an excellent professional development opportunity for anyone interested in the changing realities of doing business in the music industry. Discussion topics will range from talent management, artist legal rights, the impact of music streaming, and much more. Attendees of business academy will “graduate” with an enhanced understanding of how to operate in the music industry, as well as how those operations might be impacted by emerging trends in media and technology.
