Mint Records

Label Music Publishing Publicity

Mint records has been at the forefront of Vancouver and Canada’s indie rock scene since 1991, releasing over 150 albums by 80 artists including The New Pornographers, Neko Case, The Pack a.d and cub. The labels founders, Randy Iwata and Bill Baker, met while working together at CITR, UBC's campus radio station and formed Mint as a label that celebrated the fantastic talent that they saw in the local Vancouver community.

Today the label has a strong and diverse roster of a dozen Canadian artists from across North America such as Peach Kelli Pop, Faith Healer, Dumb and lié. The label has three full time staff that strive to provide world class artist friendly service and promotion for emerging Canadian talent.
