Christina Fitzgerald - Account & Promotions Manager, eOne/Last Gang
Christina Fitzgerald is the Account & Promotions Manager at eOne/Last Gang in Toronto. Christina hails from a small town in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley. While still studying broadcasting, she began her radio career as a regular volunteer in the promotions department of the famously scandalous Q104 (CFRQ), frequently dawning embarrassing costumes and shrugging off leering Q listeners. When the ground-work grew into employment, Christina found a role planning promotional events and coordinating them, on the street, all the while developing working relationships with the East Coast’s most highly respected radio personnel. Christina was soon given the opportunity to shine on the air, as a weekend announcer for K-Rock (CIJK), an hour outside the city. This led to a brief stint as the Morning Host, at K-Rock (CKXX) in Newfoundland, and then back to Halifax, where she assisted in the launch of LIVE 105 (CKHY); there, she worked for 3 years, as Mid-Day Host and Music Director. In a return to Newcap Radio, Christina served as the Program Director at Radio 965 (CKUL), as well as Music Director and Mid-Day Host. At this time, she began in her involvement with MuchFACT, where she was a jury member, helping to award grants to Canadian musicians across the country. Before taking on her role at eOne/Last Gang, Christina was Co-Program Director & Music Director, alongside Mike Relgia, at Indie88 in Toronto for 3 years.
