Save the Date: CIMA's 2017 Annual General Meeting

The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, September 28, and we'd like to see you there! We look forward to welcoming our members, friends, colleagues and partners as we look back on last year's successes and examine the new challenges we'll face in the coming year.

What's on tap? The election of a new Board of Directors, a special performance (or two!), food, beverages, and good times.

A Continent of Opportunities: Canadian Independent Music in the Latin American Market!

NEW THIS YEAR: Join us from 2:00pm - 4:00pm for a pre-AGM presentation and panel hosted by our Music Export Office!

Join CIMA for the release of our one of a kind study and report on Latin America, one of the largest untapped music markets for Canadian businesses and artists. Are you looking to expand your b(r)and’s opportunities south of the equator? This in-depth, country-by-country analysis will give you all you need to know, from which genres chart on the radio, to the festivals and music companies that make each market tick.

One of our market specialists from Sound Diplomacy will be flying in just to present key info from the report and answer your questions, followed by a panel of expert exporters to the region. We will explore targeted trade and showcase opportunities in each market that you can add to your travel calendar!

This study was generously funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
