Award-winning Canadian country artist Tenille just hosted her 6th annual Big Hearts for Big Kids fundraiser at the Entrec Centre in her hometown of Grand Prairie, Alberta on Valentine’s Day – and raised a whopping $225,000! The proceeds will be going to Sunrise House – a Grand Prairie-based emergency youth shelter that serves Northern Alberta. The evening featured performances by Tenille, George Canyon, Patricia Conroy, High Valley, Beverley Mahood, Adam Gregory, Jimmy Rankin and Beamer Wigley. Over the course of 6 events, this event has raised over $775, 000 for Sunrise House.

“I’m completely blown away and feeling so overwhelmed by this community’s ability to directly impact the lives of youth here at home who turn to the Sunrise House,” Tenille says. “Every single volunteer, committee member, sponsor, artist, auction bidder, and audience member, are a huge reason why we continue to keep the shelter doors open; their generosity is incredible and has shown me the power of people coming together through music. Big Hearts For Big Kids has changed my life.”
