#NuitBoreale Is Back For La Fete De La Musique 2014
For a unique celebration of Canadian music, join us for Canada’s third edition of #NuitBoréale on June 21st.
All are welcome on the Esplanade des Invalides, in the heart of Paris, to dance their way across Canada’s magnificent musical landscape, with #NuitBoréale’s talent spanning from Winnipeg to Halifax, via Montréal and the Gaspésie.
Canada’s new folk, pop, rock and electronic scenes will come together on stage to create an exciting explosion of sound. #NuitBoréale is France’s chance to discover Canada’s rising stars Klô Pelgag, marijosée, Mise en Scene, Patrice Michaud, The Darcys and DJ Skratch Bastid, and host Catherine Pogonat.
With an audience of more than 15,000 people in 2013, making it the third biggest show in Paris, #NuitBoréale is one of the Fête de la Musique’s must-see concerts.
This exceptional evening, with its urban music theme, has come together with the participation of ADISQ (Association québecoise de l’industrie du disque, du spectacle et de la video) and CIMA (Canadian Independent Music Association), in partnership with FACTOR (Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) and MusicAction.
The artists include: Klô Pelgag (Quebec), Patrice Michaud (Quebec), marijosée (Manitoba), Mise En Scene (Manitoba), The Darcys (Ontario), and Skratch Bastid (Nova Scotia).
Olivier Dufour, a renowned show designer from Quebec City, is the concert’s stage director.
Vermilion Energy and the Mouvement Desjardins are among #NuitBoréale’s major partners.
The concert will be streamed live on our website, www.nuitboréale.org.
