Over the past few months, CIMA, via our Music Export Canada initiative, has been exploring showcasing opportunities in Los Angeles - one of the most important cities in the world for recorded music and entertainment! To help us create these excellent opportunities, like our Annual Celebration of Canadian Music Excellence (details coming soon), we've teamed up with The Consulate General of Canada.

On November 12th, we'll be once again partnering with the Consulate General of Canada to put on an exclusive Canadian Blast Showcase at the Official Residence in Los Angeles. The purpose of this mission is to showcase Canadian export-ready artists to the Los Angeles entertainment industry, and for their representatives to build business connections and opportunities within areas like touring, press, publishing and song placement - just to name a few!

This Canadian Blast showcase is an exclusive, invite-only event; the guest list has been specifically targeted to the VIPs of the Los Angeles entertainment industry. The invite list has been managed by the office of the Consul General of Canada. Beyond the showcasing opportunity, this mission also includes a VIP luncheon with our artist representatives and additional targeted LA industry contacts to match the needs of the business representatives in attendance.

We're now excited to present some of the details for this November mission, featuring acoustic sets from Jenn Grant (Outside Music, Management: Blue Grace Music) and Lindsay Broughton (Curve Music). They'll be performing at the Official Residence of Canada from 6:00pm -8:00pm.

We'd like to thank the Consul General, James Villeneuve, and his team for allowing the use of his residence for this showcase!
