CIMA Represented in 2016 Canadian Country Music Nominations
Since 1984, the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) has recognized excellence in Canadian country music. Each year, CCMA hosts several days of music-related activities, culminating with the CCMA Awards. This year, London, Ontario will be the site of Country Music Week, September 8-11. The CCMA Awards will be held at Budweiser Gardens in London and broadcast on CBC and CMT on Sunday, September 11 (at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. respectively).
The Awards are voted on by CCMA members in a three-stage ballot process. Verified by the Awards and Balloting Committee, the third and final ballot contains the top five nominees in each category.
