CIMA Appoints Emy Stantcheva as Marketing and Events Coordinator
CIMA is pleased to announce Emy Stantcheva’s appointment as Marketing and Events coordinator, moving from administration. Emy’s new role will see her driving the programming and execution of MusicOntario’s programs and services, as well as CIMA’s marketing, event and export services and programs. Prior to CIMA, Emy worked in music publicity and marketing and artist management. With Emy’s experience, expertise, passion and sense of humour, we are confident that she will play a vital role in elevating our program and service delivery for the benefit of our members and our industry!
“The past year with CIMA has allowed me to learn so much about what makes the independent music industry in Canada tick, and to get to know many of the dedicated people who keep it vital and strong. Having worked directly with artists for some time, I’m excited to have this opportunity to explore new venues for professional development at both grassroots and export-ready levels,” says Emy. “I’m very lucky to work with such an incredible team of people every day!”
Emy is a rabid music fan, well-known cat lady and self-professed dirty hippie (or “witch doctor” as the CIMA crew calls her), and she writes for Addicted Magazine in her spare time.
