Canadian Blast Returns to Germany for Reeperbahn 2016

CIMA will be returning to Germany for the 2016 edition of the Reeperbahn Festival and we're excited to finally reveal the companies and artists who will be joining us on the mission!

Events will kick off in Berlin where companies will get the opportunity to participate in a pre-Reeperbahn business initiative that CIMA is working on with Berlin's Reeperbahn office and the Canadian and UK embassies. The initiative includes a Tuesday afternoon panel session, a Tuesday evening Berlin industry networking reception, a showcase following the networking reception, speed dating sessions and a networking lunch at the Canadian Embassy on Wednesday morning and a Berlin networking train to Hamburg sponsored by Reeperbahn.

Canadian companies will also get the opportunity to participate in a B2B session held in Hamburg on the morning of Friday, September 23.

Canadian Blast showcases will take place on Thursday, September 22 and Friday, September 23 at Kukuun (Spielbudenplatz 21-22 20359, Hamburg) and will feature 24 Canadian acts: Alejandra Ribera, Belle Game, Ben Caplan, Christina Martin, Declan O'Donovan, DGS Samurai Champs, Erin Costelo, Foreign Diplomats, Gordie Tentrees and Jaxon Haldane, July Talk, Like a Motorcycle, Louise Burns, Mise En Scene, Northern Beauties, Poor Nameless Boy, Ria Mae, Samito, Scenic Route to Alaska, Shred Kelly, Surf Dads, Terra Lightfoot, USS, We are Wolves and Yes We Mystic.

Canadian companies with participants in attendance include: Alberta Music, Arts and Crafts, Buckaroo Music, Chronograph Records, Coalition Music, Costume Records, GroundSwell Music, Here to Everywhere Entertainment, Hopeful Tragedy Records, Indica Records, Light Organ Records, Manitoba Music, Music BC, Music Nova Scotia, O'Donovan Music Productions, Pandyamonium Management, Pipe and Hat, SaskMusic, Simone Records, Sleepless Records and Sonic Unyon Records.
