Call to Register for the jazzahead! Canada Stand 2016
jazzahead! Showcase Submission deadline: November 10, 2015
The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) will be hosting the Canada Stand at jazzahead! in Bremen, Germany from April 21-24, 2016.
jazzahead! is currently accepting applications to showcase. The deadline to submit your artist is November 10, 2015. Export-ready Canadian artists could be considered for the jazzahead! Overseas Night showcase.
Showcase proposals for jazzahead! can only be made by logged-in registrants from companies/artists signed up to a national stand/booth. Canadian companies can reference the Canada Stand booth number (6C-08) when they register/apply for showcases.
Please note: you must register before you can submit an artist.
Follow these steps to register and submit an artist:

- Once registered and logged in, you must submit your artist via Gigmet. To do this, please review the guidelines and instructions here: https://www.gigmit.com/apply-for-jazzahead-2016
- If your artist already has a Gigmet profile, then log in here: https://www.gigmit.com/login
- If not, you must create a Gigmet profile for your artist here: https://www.gigmit.com/register/artist
If you are selected for Overseas Night showcase, your band will get a time slot of 45 minutes play time + time for set-up (according to schedule provided by jazzahead!).
Applications that are submitted after the deadline cannot be taken into consideration by the jury. If you are interested in showcasing or in registering as a delegate with the Canada Stand at jazzahead!, please note the following:
jazzahead!'s registration and cancellation policy. You are responsible for your jazzahead! registration fees whether or not your artist is accepted by jazzahead!, and whether or not you attend. jazzahead! will invoice you and you will be responsible for payment, even if you do not attend, for any reason - including medical. Failure to pay means the outstanding amount will be carried over to your registration on future jazzahead! events.

Canada Stand delegates must be pre-registered with jazzahead!. The fee to register with the Canada Stand at jazzahead! is $400 CAD for CIMA members ($600 non-member rate).
