Bell Gives ‘Much Music Video Awards’ a New Name
Before officially launching iHeartRadio later in 2016, Much officially rebranded its long-running awards show the IHEARTRADIO MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS on Friday, April 8, 2016.
“We are excited to join with the iHeartRadio brand to further elevate the MMVAs internationally,” says Bell Media President Entertainment Production and Broadcasting, Randy Lennox.
The 2016 IHEARTRADIO MMVAs will air on Sunday, June 19 and feature singer-songwriter Alessia Cara, global hip-hop act Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and multi-platinum recording artist Nick Jonas. They will be simulcast on CTV, Much and the new French youth network VRAK.
Canada’s largest radio broadcaster, Bell Media partnered with iHeartMedia earlier this year. Through the iHeartRadio platform, audiences will get access to all of Bell Media’s digital and broadcast radio content – over a complete range of mobile, smartphone, tablet, gaming and wearable devices.
