2016 WCMA Winners from 14th Edition of BreakOut West

The Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMAs) took place on Thursday, October 13, as part of the 14th annual BreakOut West music festival and conference held in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The Awards were hosted by 2016 Canada’s Walk of Fame Allan Slaight Honour recipient Brett Kissel, and featured performances by David Morin, Diyet, Justin Lacroix, Lexi Strate, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Rosie & the Riveters and William Prince.

Also co-headlining the WCMA Gala was Colin James, who was honoured by FACTOR as the 2016 inductee into the Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Notably, Colin received CIMA’s Road Gold certification earlier this week – having sold more than 25,000 tickets in less than 12 months during his popular 2015 Canada-wide tour.
